A dopamine detox is something that happened to me 3 years ago and it changed my life. I started growing on Youtube, became a modern-day leader for millions of guys and it all started with getting onto a dopamine detox.
Dopamine detoxing is when you get onto a hyperfocus period where you are going to cut out all of the bad habits at once and also to make sure that you stick to this. It's completely free and it's just a YouTube video.
A dopamine detox will give you more motivation, and if you are honest with yourself, you would probably love to live a life where you are actually quite motivated to do that hard work because you like it because you enjoy it because you actually feel like it.
When you feel like going to the gym and you have everything ready, you can't wait to lift in the gym.
When you get on a dopamine detox, you literally feel more motivated because the science of dopamine is that when you have too much dopamine from bad habits like porn, video games, junk food, drugs, your future self is worse off when you keep doing that.
When you go into a dopamine detox, you stop frying those dopamine receptors as much, which means you’ll have more motivation for other things in life. If you cut out any bad habits, you’ll be at least 5 to 10% more motivated for one of the good habits.
When you are on a dopamine detox, you will undoubtedly make more progress to your goals. This is why the first benefit of motivation is so important. You want to set up your life in a monk likee way where the only thing that gives you dopamine is you pursuing your goals. That way, you get dopamine instead of thinking about bad habits like getting the next level on a video game.
You want to focus entirely on your goals and make as much progress to them as possible, because that's why you look up to the men you do. When you get onto a dopamine detox, you make more progress to your goals too.
The third benefit of the dopamine detox is underappreciated. You get more respect for yourself, you have less shame upon yourself, and you don't experience that massive negative emotion of shame anymore because you're no longer doing those bad DOP mean habits.
You have respect, you respect yourself. You have to respect yourself before other men can respect you, and one of the big reasons why you won't respect yourself is because of the bad habits that you just keep doing. Even though you say you're not going to, I'm going to read you a quote from the Quran and from the Bible. Take control, take responsibility and change your circumstances to be able to test and approve God's will.
